During milder weather, our two-stage furnace can more closely match your home’s comfort needs. When properly sized, it can run on “low heat” 75-80% of the time, allowing the furnace to cycle less often, providing a more even and comfortable environment. When outdoor temperatures drop, your furnace will easily meet the demand, by running at a full 100% capacity, keeping your family warm and comfortable.

In humid climates the furnace will work in conjunction with the cooling system, to not only improve the cooling system’s efficiency, but improve the cooling system’s ability to control humidity.

Reliability

The System Sentry™ control system helps assure safe, reliable and efficient operation by constantly monitoring and controlling the furnace. Should trouble occur, the System Sentry™ control system will provide service codes to a contractor to help quickly and accurately diagnose the problem.

The Enhanced 80v is engineered with quality components. Made with an aluminized steel heat exchanger to help resist corrosion and maintain long-lasting performance, the Enhanced 80v provides years of trouble-free operation. Quiet Operation

The unique design of the Enhanced 80v furnace, which can bring combustion air to the furnace from outdoors, also provides two layers of steel between where combustion occurs and your living space. This, combined with slow, quiet blower ramp-up and ramp-down and an ultralow continuous fan speed, allows the furnace to keep you comfortable with little sound.

The fully insulated cabinet adds to the quiet nature of the furnace, keeping heat and sounds where you want them contained, within the furnace.

Energy Efficiency

Our 80% AFUE gas furnace significantly reduces heating costs compared to the older furnaces it often replaces. What’s more, our variable speed motor can reduce your electrical consumption to that of a 75-watt light bulb during continuous fan operation. The superior efficiency of our furnace can also boost cooling efficiencies when matched with an Armstrong Air central cooling system or heat pump. Together, these gas heating and electrical efficiencies provide one of the most energy-efficient comfort systems available today.

With the ability to start gradually and run on continuous fan at a reduced speed, the variable speed fan motor allows air to flow evenly and consistently throughout the home. This ensures greater energy efficiency and helps maintain an even temperature throughout the home.
